Autumn Attractions

29th Aug 2012

Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm offers a host of wonderful attractions this autumn including the chance to meet our newest additions. Despite the variable weather over the summer of 2012 we have welcomed thousands of visitors to our 100 acre indoor and outdoor extravaganza. We have been incredibly pleased to welcome two new additions to Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm this summer - George the giraffe and Zagnatius the zebra. With both species having originally come from Africa, George and Zagnatius quickly bonded and became the best of friends which made for some cute photo opportunities.

We are building a new enclosure for meerkats at Noah's Ark

Speaking of photos; we are close to announcing the winners of our summer photo competition, but there are still two days left if you want to enter. Get down here ASAP with a camera and give yourself the chance to win fantastic prizes, including your photography featured on our outdoor advertising – a wonderful addition to any portfolio.

We are also in the middle of constructing a new enclosure for the meerkats which will of course be ‘simples’! Noah's Ark has been keeping meerkats for 11 years. We have three meerkats called Malcolm, Mika and Mia at the moment but we have worked hard to expand the group over August 2012 by expanding the meerkat enclosure. If you want to find out about all the fun that we have had on this exciting project then be sure to read our builders blog for regular updates.

What makes Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm so great is that we have both indoor and outdoor attractions, so the weather can never spoil the fun. Whether you want to take a tractor ride through the pristine North Somerset countryside, become a keeper for a day and feed big zoo animals such as lions and tigers, or join us for educational school trips; we have something for everyone. Join us today and enjoy all we have to offer!
