Easter at the Zoo

18th Mar 2018

This Easter holiday Noah's Ark Zoo Farm is getting eggstravagant with our Easter EggFest running from Saturday 24th March to Saturday 14th April 2018.

On top of our usual zoo fun including over 100 species of zoo animals, animal keeper talks every 15 minutes and 15 indoor and outdoor play areas visitors can get involved in our eggtastic activities over Easter.

Children can get involved and paint a wooden egg in the morning workshops for £1 to take home at the end of the day.

In the afternoon everyone can enjoy an Easter Egg hunt in Animal Village. If you find an egg take it to the Gift Shop where you can be entered into a prize draw to win a goat adoption.

Every day visitors can also take part in Giant Egg Rolling down Rhino Hill for free.

On top of all of this over Easter weekend (30th & 31st March & 2nd April) we’re letting the Meerkats get involved in their very own egg hunt. You can even paint an egg for the Meerkats to find for just £3. During the afternoon the decorated eggs will be placed in the Meerkat enclosure for the Meerkats to find!

This Spring we have had a number of special arrivals at the zoo including a litter of piglets, fluffy little chicks and cute baby goats and lambs. You can find the piglets in the pig sty, the chicks in the hatchery and the lambs and kids in the fields. Did you know you can purchase £1 animal feed in the Gift Shop to feed the sheep and goats. Every day at 12.30pm and 3.30pm you can meet our fluffy little friends in the animal handling sessions in animal village.
