Eden the Elephant sets out to trumpet his way through Bristol and Somerset from Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm

Our newest addition to the zoo at Noah’s Ark is stretching his big grey legs by stomping around on a busy tour of the South West! ‘Eden the elephant’ is out exploring south-west tourist attractions, stirring up excitement ahead of the arrival of the rest of his herd at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm this summer.

Our giant 8ft-tall elephant model is out on Bristol’s streets as part of our STOMP tour promoting our new elephant sanctuary set to open this summer. The 20-acre Elephant Eden at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm will be Europe’s largest elephant habitat, offering a rich, vibrant environment for up to 10 elephants. Eden is taking in the local sites and started his tour with Clifton’s iconic Suspension Bridge. He was then spotted at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway on Saturday, June 15thbefore exploring Broadmead on Tuesday 18th and then Haynes Motor Museum and Fleet Air Arms Museum on Wednesday. The elephant trail will also take in The Grand Pier at Weston, Seaquarium, Burnham Sea Front, Brean, Avon Valley Railway, West Somerset Railway, Wells Cathedral and Clarks Village throughout June and July. Keep a special eye out for Eden’s elephantine sticker ‘footprints’ on pavements around Bristol and Weston, which offer the chance to win zoo tickets.
