Last Weekend of Easter – Come & See Us at Noah’s Ark!

8th Apr 2015

Easter Event 2015

We’ve certainly been lucky with the sunshine this Easter, with news reports saying that this glorious spring weather is warmer than it is in many Mediterranean hotspots. We’re even luckier down south – temperatures are set to reach as high as 21C, which would be the hottest recorded temperature so far this year. Although Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm is an all-weather destination, with our heated indoor playbarns, café and sheltered areas, it really does come alive when the sun is shining. The long Easter weekend was a huge success, and our Easter Egg Hunt and Noah’s Chocolate Trail went down a storm. But that doesn’t mean Easter is over just yet – schools don’t go back until Monday, so there’s plenty of time to treat your little ones to a memorable day out at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm before they get back to the grindstone.

Now’s the time to make the most of the better weather; we have a huge range of outdoor play areas dotted over Noah’s Ark – from Wallaby Hill (complete with zip lines, climbing wall, rope bridges, swings and – of course – a mini Noah’s Ark!) to our three outdoor trampolines, beach hut with sandpit and our Termite Mountain, where children can play on the combine harvester and big tyre swings. And let’s not forget our a-maze-ing hedge Monster Maze – a mere 3.2 kilometres-long! If the weather does take a turn for the worse, fear not; we have a fantastic heated indoor play area, complete with softplay, ball pit, rainbow slides and drop slide. As well as all the playing, there are all the amazing animals to come and say hello to! One of the great things about Noah’s Ark is that you can get hands-on with a range of animals – feeding goats, camels, deer, llamas, sheep and pigs. Little ones can also enjoy holding a cuddly rabbit, chick or guinea pig in the Animal Show Pens. It’s not just the small and furry either; we are home to the big zoo animals like elephants, rhinos, giraffes and big cats!

Keep a close eye on our daily and annual events as there is always so much going on. Many of the daily events – including the meerkat feed, ‘meet the reptiles’, birds of prey display and ‘big cat feed’ – allow you to get up-close to the animals. If you’re planning on arranging a group of you to come to Noah’s Ark for the day, be sure to take a look at our special discounted entry rates. Bear in mind that group bookings need to be made in advance of the day you wish to visit, so get organising and reap the rewards of being part of a 10+ group! We are also currently running a series of radio promotions for family offers in Bristol and Wales, as well as billboard advertisements – so keep your ears and eyes open! Thinking about what to do for food and drink in this warm weather? You’ll be pleased to know that Noah’s Ark has a fabulous on-site café, serving delicious meals and an array of hot and cold beverages. We also have kiosks offering ice-cream and drinks. However, if you wish to bring your own picnic and make use of our acres of land and picnic tables, this is welcomed, too! Sounds like the perfect way to end the Easter holidays, doesn’t it? Start planning your Noah’s Ark day trip and ensure your kids go back to school on a high.
