May Half Term at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm

22nd May 2015

Baby Reindeer Nazf 15 B

Half term is almost upon us, and we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to improve our facilities and make a day out at Noah’s Ark even more special. We’ve revamped our ticket office for faster entry, so you can get in sooner and spend more time with our incredible animals. This will include a portable scanner so members can beat the queue. You’ll also notice our new hygiene stations around the site, which will help to keep everyone clean and safe during their visit. As ever, there’s so much to see – from our big zoo animals like Rumba and Rumbull the rhinos to our birds of prey like our owls and Harris Hawks. And you can’t beat the experience of getting up close to our farmyard animals, and holding adorable rabbits, chicks and guinea pigs.

There’s also a huge range of indoor and outdoor play areas to enjoy, no matter what the weather decides to do over half term week. You can lose yourself in the twists and turns of our 3.2km monster maze, try your hand at digging and scooping with our electric Bigger Diggers, or enjoy the Drop Slide, trampolines, climbing frames and swings in our heated play barn.

You may want to say hello to our latest additions to Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm. If you love baby animals (and who doesn’t?), you can pay a visit to Reggie, Rachel and Rosa, the three very cute baby reindeer born here this month. There’s also Jordi, our new ex-racehorse who has just arrived and will be keeping Boxer (our lovely shire horse) company. Jordi is 13 years old and joins us from a livery yard in Gloucestershire. Boxer and Jordi have already hit it off and we’re sure they’re going to get on well together! Whatever you decide to do here, it’s a wonderful family day out.

If you haven’t visited us before, we’re located just off the M5 - a short, easy, hassle-free drive from Bristol, Weston-super-Mare, South Wales or North Somerset. Don’t forget, you can now book your tickets online as well as at the ticket office on arrival. Simply head to our website, choose your tickets and print them out to bring with you.

All online bookings get 5% off the regular entrance prices. We’re open Monday to Saturday from 10.30am – 5pm (including Bank Holiday Monday (25th May) and Half Term. We look forward to seeing you soon!
