New arrivals at the zoo!

February half term is in full swing and we are celebrating animals from around the world! Visitors are invited to follow the trail to find out all about some of our more unusual animals from Poison Dart Frogs to American Bison. Join us for our daily keeper talks to find out more about the animals’ habitats and where each species comes from.
In addition to our exciting Half Term event we are in the midst of Lambing season with lots of activity in our Farm Barns! We have welcomed Dorset Lambs throughout January and February and our Rare Breed, White Faced Woodland Ewes are in the barn ready for their new arrivals. Join the team for the Farm talk at 2pm daily to find out more about these fluffy bundles of joy.
We have welcomed new arrivals to the zoo, Armadillo brothers Arnold and Ernie! The two young brothers arrived from Amazon World Zoo Park, Isle of Wight. The pair arrived at the zoo at the end of January and have captured the hearts of all the staff and visitors!
